OK, I hinted at this a few weeks back, but day two of this killer summertime riff-fest in Youngstown has been announced! Whether you want to hit up both days, or pick your poison and grab tickets to just one – Westside Bowl is the place to be on June 28th and 29th!
If you haven’t heard about the 28th, check out our write-up here! Suffice to say, a bill featuring us, Apocalyptic Fist Of The Black Death, Faerie Ring, Black Spirit Crown, Feckweed, Trash Mountain, and Daggrs is hard to beat, but wouldn’t you know it… Saturday is even hotter.
That’s right, in addition to seeing Horseburner (touring their new album!), Rebreather, and Lo-Pan, you’ll also get some face time with Slow Wake, Star Viper, Fuzz Fiend, Brimstone Coven, and Amplifiers (the band, obviously all these groups will have walls of electrical-signal amplifiers stacked behind them)! That’s a wild ride, right there, and one you can witness for yourself for just $12 advance, or $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 and the frenzy should start shortly after.
Think of this as an unofficial Ohio Doomed & Stoned party, since D&S isn’t happening this year. …but hey! what is in a name? You’ve got two nights, back-to-back, that are stacked with plenty of variety and creative heaviness. Stoner, sludge, metal, rock and roll, noise rock – there’s a little for every fan of loud guitar music. If you can swing it, consider grabbing tickets for both nights and live a little!
